Eva's Web Home

Right now I'm using this space to publish my writing.  I'll add projects and other fun stuff as I get to it.  One thing at a time, right?  (added... this is very much a work in progress, don't mind the dust. If you like what you read or have comments, drop me a line eva.bunker@gmail.com, I'd love to hear from you)

The Hopper

I just don't know how to quite classify these. They'll probably shake out into other categories eventually, but for now this is their home: The Hopper

People Sketches

These were written after (*er* usually, after...) a coversation where something in what the other said really hooked my imagination.  I made particular effort to wait until after the conversation had ended once I began noticing how disconcerting people find it to have someone crazily start taking notes in the middle of a conversation.   I made exceptions for phone conversations and where I was solidly in the audience.  click to go to People Sketches

The Correspondence

I spent a year or so in a pretty amazing email exchange with a friend, sending a lot of words and ideas and poems back and forth. It was fun and wonderful and crushing with a touch of bitterness in the ending. Right now you only get my half... and I wonder what that experience is like and if some of these will make any sense whatsoever. I'll add more as I dig them out of my archived emails... LP 149

I went through an experiential leadership training program in 2005.  It was one of the most empowering, life-affirming experiences I have had.  In the 3rd level class, the Leadership Program (or LP), one of my goals for the 90 days was to publish a book of poetry.  I accomplished that, and as part of a gift to my classmates, I wrote a poem for each of them and published those poems as part of the book.  I enjoyed immortalizing each of them, but for me the learning experience was really about connecting with each of them and letting what resonated in me flow onto the paper.
